This committee will focus on providing additional MCCA workshops in 2010 that would directly address the continuing education requirements for Minnesota licensed alcohol and drug counselors. They need 40 hours of “approved” continuing education every two years that relate to the 12 core functions of the alcohol and other drug abuse counselor.
